What is Assisted Serendipity?Assisted Serendipity is a free service that notifies you a soon as the male/female ratio turns in your favor at your favorite local hangouts. Using Foursquare's check-in data, we monitor the venues you are interested in, and notify you as soon as the ratio "tips". Meet new people through the power of location-based social networking.

How does Assisted Serendipity work?We monitor the venues you are interested in around the clock, by watching check-ins through the Foursquare API. We track the number of males and females at each venue, and wait for user-set thresholds to be exceeded. As soon as the ratio at a venue exceeds the set threshold, we notify the user of the venue's opportunity for serendipity, including the current ratio.
